Jane Green is an English author of women's novels who’s first book, Straight Talking, went straight on to the bestseller lists, and launched her career as "the queen of chick lit".

Her novels The Beach House and Second Chance were on the New York Times bestseller list for several weeks during the summer of 2008, as was Dune Road. Her other novels include Jemima J: A Novel About Ugly Ducklings and Swans, Mr. Maybe, Bookends, Babyville: A Novel, To Have and to Hold, The Other Woman: A Novel, This Christmas, Life Swap, Swapping Lives, Promises to Keep, The Patchwork Marriage , Another Piece of my Heart, Family Pictures.

In addition to novels, she has taught at writers conferences, and writes for various publications including The Sunday Times, Parade magazine and The Huffington Post.

Actively philanthropic, her foremost charities are The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Paul Newman's camp for children with life-threatening illnesses, Bethel Recovery Center, and various breast cancer charities.
